Claude
Head Cheese (Owner, CEO and Senior Designer/Estimator)
Claude’s super power is listening to his clients and thinking outside the box. He loves bringing our clients’ visions to life by creating beautiful and functional designs that really work for them. He is a P Eng. with a farming background who spent much of his career in the water well industry, gaining experience in design, creative client solutions and estimating. In his spare time, he rides his motorcycle and works on his 1966 International truck.
Judy
Money Master, Recruitment Rockstar & Vibe Manager (Owner, CFO and Director of Employee Experiences)
Judy keeps a close eye on the money coming in/going out each month and oversees administrative activities at Kayben Landscaping, but her true passion is providing Kayben employees with opportunities to fulfil their purpose and reach their potential. In 2020 she completed her Certificate in Applied Counselling Studies with a specialization in Workplace Psychology. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her motorcycle, reading mystery novels, and analyzing her friends.
Nick
Operations Ninja (Production Manager)
Nick takes pride in providing the best experience possible for all our clients. As the Production Manager he schedules all work, orders materials, and oversees all our landscape crews. He started his career in 2005 as a landscaping labourer, worked for several years as a foreman, and took on his current role in 2013. Nick is a Red Seal Landscape Gardener and is very experienced in all aspects of landscape construction. He’s always getting complimented by clients for his extraordinary commitment to quality and customer service. Our foremen call him the best leader they’ve ever had, and one of the main reasons they are still with us.
Al
Landscape Foreman
Al oversees a crew of landscapers who create the beautiful spaces we’re known for. He has decades of experience in the construction industry and builds the most beautiful decks, arbours, pergolas and fences. Al came to Canada from Mexico has been with Kayben Landscaping since 2013. His clients rave about the incredible quality of his crew’s work.
Alexis
Lead Designer
Alexis is our lead designer and will meet you for your consultation and create your design.
She has ten years of experience in the construction and installation of landscapes, so the designs she creates are functional as well as stunning.
As a journeyman horticulturalist and ISA-certified Arborist, she understands the importance of plant selection and features that work with the climate we live in.
Jamie
Landscape Maintenance Division Manager & Training Officer Sales.
Jamie’s experience in leading landscape crews, designing, estimating and sales were just the warm-up for becoming the manager of our entire Maintenance division. He is exceptionally good at building relationships with both his clients and his co-workers and at scheduling teams. Jamie is a multi-talented guy who is a trained firefighter and chef who manages a competitive online gaming team. He has been a part of Kayben Landscaping since 2018.
Penny
Chief Happiness Officer
Penny joined our team in 2020 at just 2 months old. She is the youngest member of our team but might be the most dedicated to her role. She never misses a staff meeting and works for hugs and treats.
Cherise
Office Administrator and Bookkeeper
Cherise joined our team in 2017 and just keeps on adding to her own role. She handles our bookkeeping, payroll, consultation bookings and keeps all our administrative systems running smoothly. Whenever we look really organized, it’s probably because Cherise was involved!
Logan
Landscape Construction Foreman
Logan joined us in the spring of 2023 after running his own landscape subcontracting business. Although he’s fairly new to our team, his coworkers are already describing him as dependable, kind, fun, trustworthy and always laughing. What his clients appreciate is his ability to get the job done. And although he can’t leap tall buildings in a single bound, he is almost as powerful as a locomotive.

Landscape Construction Foreman
We were truly fortunate to welcome Alex on our team in 2022. He came to us from another province with nearly a decade of experience in hardscapes, softscapes and grounds maintenance. A man of few words and a lot of action, Alex knows how to get things done. Thanks Ontario, we owe you!
