Nick
Operations Ninja (Production Manager)
Nick schedules the work, orders materials and supports the landscape crews so clients get a strong experience from start to finish.

Nick takes pride in providing the best experience possible for all Kayben clients. As the Production Manager he schedules all work, orders materials and oversees the landscape crews. He started his career in 2005 as a landscaping labourer, worked for several years as a foreman and took on his current role in 2013. Nick is a Red Seal Landscape Gardener and is experienced in all aspects of landscape construction. Clients regularly compliment his commitment to quality and customer service. Kayben foremen call him the best leader they have had and one of the main reasons they are still with the company.
Alexis
Lead Designer
Alexis meets clients for consultation and creates designs that connect plant knowledge, construction experience and how the yard will be used.

Alexis is Kayben’s lead designer and will meet you for your consultation and create your design. She has ten years of experience in the construction and installation of landscapes, so the designs she creates are functional as well as stunning. As a journeyman horticulturalist and ISA-certified Arborist, she understands the importance of plant selection and features that work with the climate we live in.
Jamie
Landscape Maintenance Division Manager, Training Officer & Sales
Jamie leads the maintenance division with crew leadership, scheduling strength and a gift for building relationships.

Jamie’s experience in leading landscape crews, designing, estimating and sales were the warm-up for becoming the manager of the Maintenance division. He is exceptionally good at building relationships with both clients and co-workers and at scheduling teams. Jamie is a multi-talented guy who is a trained firefighter and chef who manages a competitive online gaming team. He has been part of Kayben Landscaping since 2018.
Cherise
Office Administrator and Bookkeeper
Cherise keeps bookkeeping, payroll, consultation bookings and administrative systems moving behind the scenes.

Cherise joined the team in 2017 and just keeps adding to her own role. She handles bookkeeping, payroll, consultation bookings and keeps the administrative systems running smoothly. Whenever Kayben looks really organized, Cherise was probably involved.
Al
Landscape Foreman
Al oversees a landscape crew and brings decades of construction experience to decks, arbours, pergolas and fences.

Al oversees a crew of landscapers who create the beautiful spaces Kayben is known for. He has decades of experience in the construction industry and builds the most beautiful decks, arbours, pergolas and fences. Al came to Canada from Mexico and has been with Kayben Landscaping since 2013. His clients rave about the quality of his crew’s work.
Cam
Landscape Construction Foreman
Cam brings landscape technician training, construction experience and a friendly job-site presence to the foreman role.

Cam traded the hustle of the GTA for Alberta in 2023, clearly a man with great judgment. A proud graduate of Niagara College’s Landscape Technician program, Cam brings a decade of landscaping experience to the table. While he claims his superpower is sheer physical strength, Kayben is pretty sure it is actually his talent for making friends and charming everyone he meets.
Justin
Landscape Construction Foreman
Justin brings a strong skillset, steady energy and a practical sense of fun to the construction foreman role.

Justin joined in fall 2023 and it did not take long to see he was going places. With a solid skillset, contagious enthusiasm and energy that keeps the crew moving, he is now stepping into the foreman role. He is all about getting the job done right and keeping things fun while he is at it. When he is not landscaping, you will find him chasing mountain views on a snowboard or a hike.

Landscape Construction Foreman
Alex brings hardscape, softscape and grounds maintenance experience with a quiet, action-first approach.

Kayben was truly fortunate to welcome Alex to the team in 2022. He came from another province with nearly a decade of experience in hardscapes, softscapes and grounds maintenance. A man of few words and a lot of action, Alex knows how to get things done. Thanks Ontario, Kayben owes you.
Penny
Chief Happiness Officer
Penny joined Kayben at two months old and still takes staff meetings, morale and snack negotiations seriously.

Penny joined the team in 2020 at just two months old. She is the youngest member of the team but might be the most dedicated to her role. She never misses a staff meeting and works for hugs and treats.
